So You Own A Two Trees Hammock, and want to know how to use it?

This page will fill you full of tips and trick that will enable you to live freely, sleep tight and reset from your adventures!

Step 1:

Select your Two Trees.

Our Hammocks are extremely versitile. Each strap is 3m long with ajustable loops and the hammock is 3m long too. So as a good guide., Two trees 4-8m apart will be sufficient, depending on width of the trees.

Step 2:

Start With The Straps

Tak eyour tree friendly straps out the bag, and wrap one around your first tree. Pass the end with 13 loops on through the singular loop to form a secure fixing at shoulder height. Repeat on the other tree.

Step 3

Unravel the Goodness

Take your hammock out the bag and using the carribeaner clip it to the strap on your first tree. Without letting the hammokc touch the floor walk to the other strap and connect it together with the second carribeaner.

Step 4:

You're ready to relax!

Well Done! Your Two Trees hammock is now in daytime chill mode. flip the hammock over so the mosquito net is facing down. Lift up the edge away from you, sit back and relax! Enjoy a nice afternoon at peace with nature.

Step 5

Engaging the Sleep System

In Your Two Trees Hammock, you will notice 4 elastic cords. Take 2 out, the other 2 are spares, so keep them safe! On the Mosquito net, you will notice 2 d links on each side. Clip one to your first d link, then run the elastic through the loop from the strap back at the tree. This protects them from fraying due to contact with tree bark. After looping through the strap, connect it back to the other d link. you will notice the mosquito net is now elevated.

Step 6

Perfecting the Pod

Unlike other hammocks that come with bulky, heavy pole systems for their nets, our sytstem relies on mother nature herself. Its time to find yourself 2 sticks, 8-12mm in diameter and about 50cm long ( Dont worry, you are under 2 trees already!). Snapped twigs work best. you can now use either the d link or our reinforced fabric pouch to insert your stick, giving the mosqito net some structure. remeber, only use sticks you find on the floor, dont damage and live trees!

Step 7

Personal Preferance

Our hammocks allow you to experiment with all kinds of comfort, and personal preference comes into play. Tighten your hammock if you prefer a firmer night sleep, or loosen it slightly for more of a slump. To lay flat in the hammock, lay on a diagonal (Aprox 30 degrees) to the direction of the fabric. this is easier to do in person than reading!.

Step 8

The Rain Tarp

Erecting your rain tarp should be done first if the conditions are inclement. to erect your rain tarp, connect two guide ropes to opposite corners of the square. Secure these to a tree and you should have something that looks like this photo. Selecting the right Knots are hard, so watch this video to teach you how.
